wounds. Healing Emotional Wounds
My students
have been sharing that Dance Your Bliss improves the quality of
their lives. I appreciate hearing this, because, every teacher needs
positive reminders now and again.
Having recently
been faced with a multi-layered cornucopia of adversity (too much
to name here, but let's just say, the planets were not in my favor),
I began to feel the itch and pull of depression tugging at my heels.
A feeling I nurtured and knew well through my teens and twenties,
I now have far less affinity for this state of being. As I wondered
how I might make it through each day, (yes, I too can wallow in
moments of self-pity), I realized the great fortune that faced me:
I had a bonafide opportunity to test Dance Your Bliss!
Was it really
as transformative and healing as so many folks had told me? Could
it really improve my entire week? Just one class?? Dragging my heels
all the way, I went forth and led a class committed to remaining
in my morose state. Try as I might, I could not resist the power
of the movement structures, the music, the wisdom of the body.
The very format
of Dance Your Bliss changes our psycho-physical state. The combination
of movement structures, intuitive guidance, body-wisdom, guided
imagery and visioning really works, even if you don't want it to!
I was able to
use my experience to see the value of Dance Your Bliss.
So, I am here
to say that I am 100% confident that Dance Your Bliss can make a
positive difference in your life. Even if you are a professional
curmudgeon like me.
My favorite work: Giving therapy sessions...
I can't stop
learning. Isn't that what being alive is about?
As I get ready to go to Naropa University in Boulder to present
"Embodying the Body's Wisdom and Freeing the Body Ecstatic",
I will take with my 16+ years of education, experiential learning,
and wisdom from many skilled teachers and mentors.
There is nothing I enjoy more than empowering others to be embodied,
love their bodies more, use the wisdom of the body to heal and change
their narratives.
Give yourself
the gift of supreme emotional wellness, clarity on your life path,
much improved body image, and a wealth of information about your
body that will illuminate and surprise you.
